Naming Your Baby

Selecting a name for a newborn child has always been a complex and fascinating process. In India, the selection of the name was performed according to a traditional system or religion. According to astrological principles, Name of a baby is the best qualities that the child was supposed to grow up with.
This name was derived after calculations involving the horoscope, the exact time and place of birth, as well as the traditional textual links between numbers so derived and letters of the Sanskrit alphabet. This was not an easy or a trivial process, requiring deep knowledge of the ancient texts as well as their applicability in normal or special circumstances.
Along with the first ultrasound, their name is one of the most important moments for future parents . The first round of talks starts right after the pregnancy test and visit to the gynecologist, who  confirms  your pregnancy.
Why is the name so important ?
The name you will choose will represent your baby forever his/ her life. Some believe that nothing but names are not arbitrarily chosen symbols, others think that contain names express essential truths about the person who wears them. And either of the two options would you please be more the truth is that first impressions count.
The choice seems to be more difficult in the case of boys names. On the one hand, there are nearly four times fewer boys than girls name and on the other hand, modern society still considers it more roles for men and boys should be made to reconcile the name and tradition, and wishes of parents.
Choosing a name for your new baby boy is such an exciting time in any parents life's - however, the only downside to it is actually choosing a name that is suitable for your child. There are quite a few factors to consider when it comes to naming your boy. You have to think about how your child's name may be perceived by other children at school, which can result in bullying and bad nicknames - you also need to know whether or not you want to give your child a modern name or a traditional name. All these factors need to be taken into consideration, because this will be your sons name for the rest of their lives!

English Stories for kids: Never Give Up Hope

There was a poor farmer in a village. He owned an old mule that used to carry grains and other farming related stuff for the farmer. During one of those days, the mule fell into a well. The well ran deep and despite trying hard many a times, mule couldn’t get himself out the well. He started to lose hope. His consistent shrieks drew attention of the farmer who came rushing to the well.
Farmer looked around and tried to come up with a rescue plan but eventually, he also lost the hope. He decided that the old mule was not worth the trouble of saving. So, he called his neighbours and asked for their help in hauling dirt to bury the old mule.
The mule got hysterical. Soon enough, the farmer and the neighbours started to shovel and fill well with the dirt. When the first bout of dirt hit mule’s back, suddenly his fast losing spirit came up with an idea. He thought every time a shovel load of dirt will land on his back, he will just shake it off and step up a bit higher. The idea filled him with a new lease of life and hope.
Old mule kept doing the same blow after blow. He would just shake the dirt off and step up a notch higher. He kept reminding himself of possibility of a brand new life. He controlled his nerves and kept stepping up. After some time, the exhausted mule managed to step over the wall of that well. He was completely tired and fatigued yet his spirit triumphed. The dirt that was meant to bury him actually helped him in remaining alive.
Moral : The story is a clear example of how our attitude towards seemingly impossible adversities determines the final outcome. If we respond positively to the stream of problems faced by us and refuse to surrender, we are likely to emerge victorious.
